The family will receive friends today, Jan. 31, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel with burial at Old Flatwoods Cemetery. Robert Walker will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Carey was preceded in death by his father, John William Carey; grandparents, Martha and Lewis Smith, and Rosie and Starling Carey.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Denise Carey; son, Terry Lee Carey (TC); daughter, Brandy Mae Carey of Nauvoo; mother, Mary Kathryn Carey of Nauvoo; sisters, Camilla J. Darty (Phillip) of Nauvoo and Karen E. Currington (Allen) of Carbon Hill.
