Visitation will be today, Jan. 27, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be today, Jan. 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery. Michael Threadgill will officiate.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie Ray Sharp (Diann) and family of Foley; daughter, Jerrie Faye Jones and family of Huntsville; long-time companion, Ann McClusky and family of Jasper; and brother, Bill Sharp (Linda) of Albertville.
He was preceded in death by his son, Johnnie C. Sharp Jr.; parents, Joe Willie and Maggie Sharp; six sisters; and four brothers.
