She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Verner Chan- dler; sister, Anita Chandler; grandfather, Jessie Floyd Chandler; grandmother, Hester Downs Chandler; step-grandmother, Allie Mae Chandler; grandfather, John W. Gurganus; and grand- mother, Helen Mullinax Gurganus.
She is survived by her mother, Burlie Chandler; sisters, Mar- lene Chandler and Vernell Pierce; brothers, Maurice Chandler and his wife, Marcia, and John Chandler; 15 nieces and nephews; and cousin, Bill Chandler and his wife, Lisa.
