The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Omega Cemetery. Patrick Benson and Virgil Key will officiate.
Mrs. Benson was preceded in death by her parents, J.M. and Ramie Key; brothers, Claudie Key, Gordon Key and Ray Key; and sisters, Ruby Key and Mailland Key.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Benson and wife, Penny, Danny Benson and wife, Madonna, Patrick Benson and wife, Teresa; sisters, Verler Lee and Betty Browning; brothers, Narvel Key, Virgil Key and Anthony Key; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
