William Milton Kellis, 81, of Jasper, passed away on Dec. 12, 2012, at Ridgeview Health Care. Mr. Kellis was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the National Weather Service with a total of 40 years of federal service. He was awarded several meritorious service medals and Air Force commendations for outstanding services. The family will remember William as a kind and loving companion of Mary for 42 years. He loved and served his country as a great patriot.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Kilgore-Green Chapel. Todd Hunter will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his son, William M. Kellis Jr.; and parents, William Harold Kellis and Lula Ruth Kellis.

He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Kellis.
