Leo Bonner, 96, was born on Nov. 16, 1916, in Coal Valley. He was fourth in a family of 10 children (five boys and five girls).

Leo “Papaw” Bonner departed this earthly dimension to return home to his Creator in His Heavenly dimension.

He was preceded by his wife of 70 years, Frances Bonner. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jo Ann Murray Richardson; sisters, Marie Upton Denkhouse, Pauline Wilcutt, Estelle Honeycutt, Clemmie Davis and Inez Minor; and brothers, Dewey Bonner, Clyde Bonner, Cleo Bonner and Jack Bonner.

He is survived by his daughter, Jean Clouse Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren, Kim Clouse, Tony Murray and Monica Murray Moon; great-grandchildren, Katharine Clouse, Levi Moon, James Clouse and Carson Moon; and by a multitude of family and friends.

Pallbearers were Kim Clouse, Tony Murray, James Clouse, Levi Moon, Carson Moon and Gene Lawrence.

Services were conducted by Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. Visitation was held on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and the service started at 3 p.m. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
