The Dora Bulldogs are heading to the Class 4A state semifinals after taking down the Charles Henderson Trojans 33-21 Friday at Troy University's Memorial Stadium.

Next up for Dora is a trip to Mobile to take on the UMS-Wright Bulldogs with a trip to the state championship game on the line.

Dora's win marked the first ever quarterfinal victory for coach Johnny Wright.

Dora (12-1) is in the semifinals for the first time since 1988 and only the third time in school history.

UMS-Wright (11-2), which edged Beauregard 22-19 on Friday, has won four 4A state championships since 2000.
