Visitation will be held from 2 until 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Carbon Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and Ida McCarty.
She is survived by her children, Jessie Herron (Patty Key), Christy Humanes (Kristen Brooks), Ronnie Herron (Mary), Patty Knight and Jeff Herron (Steve Chadderdon); 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
