Over the weekend, Police Chief Andy Powell and Officer Chuck Lilley were able to orchestrate a meth purchase at the location.
That drug buy secured warrants that netted one person for distributing a controlled substance and three more for possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“We want people to know that we are listening to those complaints and we were able to shut this house down, thanks to their help,” Powell said.
Oakman police recovered approximately one gram of meth, as well as Lortab, Xanax and needles at the residence.
Powell said there had been multiple tips and complaints about this house being used to sell drugs, prior to the bust Friday night.
Powell said that the number of complaints made this house a top priority for the small department.
“We are constantly working these drug cases, we aren’t going to stop until we get them,” Powell said. “Sometimes those investigations just take longer.”
The names of those arrested were not released pending further investigation and possible other related arrests.
