A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at New Prospect Cemetery. Delmus Anthony will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Ruth Sherer; and sister, Susan Sherer.
He is survived by his children, Richie Sherer of Mobile and Robin Trotter (Thomas) of Cordova; grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, Chase and Gracie Trotter; sister, Jan Deason of Helena; niece, Susan Gibson (Jay) of Mt. Olive; nephew, Scott Deason (Dana) of Helena; aunts, Billie Jo Ingle (James) of Jasper and Anna Lou Hudson of Anniston; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Prospect Baptist Church in Jasper.
