Festivities for the event will include senior-cise and line dancing, a magic show, singing by the Eagles Wings Quartet and youth drama from Prospect Methodist Church.
Jasper Family Services and the Community Action Agency will be present to answer questions about their services in the community and available programs.
Jerry Boyd, president of West Jasper Community Group, which is sponsoring the event, said “We’re having something for kids, something for youths, something for adults — something for everybody.”
Booths and yard sale tables will be available for placement for $5. All proceeds from the booths and tables will be used to help West Jasper School.
Although the event officially kicks off at 9 a.m., Boyd said yard sale shoppers may want to come earlier to take advantage of early bird opportunities.
Free hot dogs and drinks will be given out during the event. For more information on booths and yard sale tables, call 221-0579.
Boyd said the mission of the West Jasper Community Group is “to make West Jasper, a safer, cleaner better place to live.”
“We’re really excited about it,” Boyd said about Saturday’s event.
