Sandra S. Evans Pinson, 64, of Northport, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at West Alabama Hospice in Tuscaloosa. Visitation will be from noon until 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Collins-Burke Funeral Home Parlor. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Gray Cemetery in Parrish. Jason Murphree will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her father, William J. Evans; and mother, Tommie Jean Jones Evans.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandie M. Bruner; son, Gene Bean (Vanda) of Parrish; sisters, Barbara Self (Calvin) of Parrish and Janice Mize (Jeffrey) of Bessemer; brothers, Glenn Evans (Susie) of Kiln, Miss., Dale Evans (Barbara) of Bessemer and Richard Evans of Bessemer; grandchildren, Maegan Bruner of Parrish, Tyler Bruner, Jaxton Williams of Parrish and River Bean of Parrish; and a host of nieces and nephews.
