The annual Workforce Expo is fast approaching, and businesses still have time to register for the event that serves as an opportunity for employees and employers to connect.

Bevill State Community College, the Chamber of Commerce of Walker County, and the Daily Mountain Eagle are once again sponsoring the Workforce Expo that will be held on Tuesday, April 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at Bevill State and Alabama Power's HVAC Training Center, located at 3711 Industrial Court in Jasper, behind Nitto Denko.

Representatives from a number of industries will be present at the event and businesses have until Tuesday, March 31, to register for participation. Those who register by March 19 will have an opportunity to be included in pre-event publicity.

Over 30 businesses have already registered to attend the event.

There is no charge to participate in the Workforce Expo.

Businesses that would like to register for the event should contact Amanda Clement Tice at 800-648-3271, ext. 5323. She can also be reached by email at amanda.tice@bscc.edu.
