SPECIAL NOTICE

Walker County 2018 Rabies Clinics to be held on these dates from 7 – 8 p.m. at the following locations: Monday, July 23 - Lupton Elementary School; Tuesday, July 24 - Old Thach Jr. High School; Wednesday, July 25 - Curry High School; Thursday, July 26 - Cordova High School; and Monday, July 30 - Parrish Elementary School. WEDNESDAY, JULY 25

The Corner Market will visit Oakman on Wednesday, July 25, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lasting around one hour. Corner Market will be housed in a climate controlled trailer across from town hall on Market Street to provide residents with fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats, dairy products and other items available for purchase. The market will come to Oakman on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 8:30 a.m.

Capstone Rural Health Center will host its annual Back2School Supplies Giveaway & Health Fair on Friday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Parrish Community Center (Old Parrish High School) located at 35 Tornado Alley in Parrish. Guest appearances by the Alabama Wildlife Petting Zoo and Bumblebee the Transformer.
