“Sometimes, some things are bigger than ourselves. Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1st, 2020, we will be closing until further notice,” a statement read on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “We at Sakura think it's very important to do our part to do what's best for everyone, not just ourselves. We value our customers and thank everyone for understanding in this troubling time. Please stay safe, please stay home. We will update as soon as we feel it is safe, for everyone.”
