Top-ranked Jasper won a pair of matches at Corner on Thursday, pushing its record to 31-5 on the season.

The Vikings won an area match over Corner — 25-16, 25-17, 25-15 — and defeated Ramsay 25-9, 25-8.

For Jasper, Jordan Gilbert had 14 kills and five blocks in the trig-match, Alex Oliver had 13 kills, McKinley Ferguson had 29 assists and nine aces, Dayton Johnson had seven kills and four blocks, Temperance Chatman had 12 assists and Tryneti Chatman had eight digs.

Jasper plays in the Over the Mountain Tournament in Hoover starting today.

Dora splits tri-match at Curry

Dora went 1-1 at Curry on Thursday, losing to the host team and defeating Haleyville.

Against Curry, Dora fell 25-17, 25-17. The Bulldogs (16-16) followed with a 25-15, 25-15 win over Haleyville.

Zharia Hubbard had 21 kills and 10 blocks in the tri-match, Courtney Stone had 28 assists, three kills, two blocks and one ace, JaMya Harris had seven kills, 10 digs, five aces and one block, Becca Wade had four kills and nine digs and Nicole Ballenger had three blocks, three aces and two kills.

Dora plays against Tuesday at Carbon Hill.
