Phillip Wayne Lakey

Phillip Wayne Lakey, 70, of Lynn, died on Friday, Oct. 5, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. 

Visitation will be at the Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, from 1:30-3 p.m., with the funeral to follow at the church at 3 p.m. Burial will then follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper. John Billy Butler and Ronald Richardson will officiate. 

Lakey was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Owen Lakey; mother, Margie Alvalee Naramore Watson; father, Arthur Watson; brother, Kenneth Lakey; and niece, Lawen Lakey. 

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Alexander Lakey; daughter, Cheryl Smothers (Len); son, Kevin Lakey; brother, Larry Lakey (Kathy); grandchildren, Hunter Smothers (Hannah), Tanner Smothers (Kristen), and Jack Lakey; great-grandchild, Hanley Smothers; and sister-in-law, Paula Lakey. 

Pallbearers will include Hunter Smothers, Tanner Smothers, Greg Lakey, Ben Lakey, George Carnes and Danny Clements.
