The Bulldogs were in top form on offense and defense, totalling 483 yards while holding the Eagles to 142 yards.

A fumble recovery by Luke McDonald on a muffed punt set up the Eagles on the Addison 21-yard line. Two plays later, Crane covered the 21 yards on a touchdown pass to Jeremy Brown to give Sumiton Christian a 7-0 first quarter lead.

Beginning in the second quarter, the Bulldogs took firm command of the game.

Borden ran 47 yards for a touchdown to end a four-play, 72-yard drive. After Robinson converted two points on a run, Addison went ahead, 8-7.

Guthrie scored on the Bulldogs’ next possession on a 50-yard run. With the two-point conversion failing, Addison held a 14-7 advantage.

In the final minutes of the first half, Addison drove 43 yards on five plays, with Guthrie finding Gage Gilliand on a five-yard strike for the score.

Guthrie connected with Logan Wilkins for the two-point conversion for a 22-7 Bulldog lead.

Near the end of the quarter, Caleb Crider rushed 44 yards for the touchdown, leaving Addison in control, 37-7, after Dayson Parker kicked the extra point.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Parker fielded a Eagles punt and returned the ball 60 yards for a score. Parker’s extra point gave the Bulldogs the 44-7 victory.
