Multiple drug arrests made

Three search warrants were executed Wednesday night at two structures on Market Street in Oakman.

Kenneth Ray Traywick Jr., 32 of Oakman, was arrested and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (heroin), trafficking methamphetamine, attempting to elude and resisting arrest. 

Brittney Nichole Collins, 24, of Oakman, was arrested and charged with a probation revocation warrant, attempting to elude and a warrant for failure to appear on unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues. 

Narcotics Investigators Josh Edwards and Krimson Culverson investigated illegal drug activity at the residences. 

Walker County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and Narcotics Investigators executed the search warrants. 

Investigators seized approximately 57 grams of methamphetamine, which is double the amount required for a trafficking charge. 

Heroin packaged for sale in small plastic baggies was also recovered from the search of the residence.

SWAT and Narcotics personnel executed an additional search warrant on Uptain Lane in Oakman.

Twenty-six baggies of heroin packaged for sale was seized from the residence. Those arrested are as follows:

• Joey Allen Lollar, 22, of Oakman, was arrested for unlawful possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance (heroin), second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Christopher Heath Norris, 26, of Berry, was arrested for unlawful possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance (heroin), second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Robert Scott Davis, 54 of Oakman, was arrested and charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Another individual will be arrested later after he did not pass COVID-19 screening at the county jail and had to be released to maintain the health of the inmates and employees of the county jail. 

Narcotics investigators also executed a search warrant in the Boldo community on Hardin Road. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized.  

Those arrested are as follows:

• Cherry Lynn Hardin, 60, of Boldo, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Tianna Ryan, 29, of Boldo, was arrested for second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
