Mary Ann Davidson, 85, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019.
She was the wife of Edward Amon Davidson. They shared 66 years together and a home filled with love, laughter, good food, and family. Born in Tennessee in 1934, Mary Ann was the daughter of Howard and Mary Virginia Alsup. She attended Farmstead and Walker County High School and married her high school sweetheart in 1952. She was a member of the Nazarene church and was a talented seamstress and avid reader. She will be remembered for her good humor, sweet nature, and steadfast love for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Amon; by her son, Ed, and his wife, Anne, along with their three children, Amy & John Byars, Emily Davidson, and Chris Davidson; by her son, Bobby, and his wife, Loronda, along with their two daughters, Ashlee Davidson and Anna Davidson; and by her daughter, Laurie. She has four great-grandchildren, Sallie, Luke, Molly, and Zach Byars, as well as cousins, nephews, and nieces who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
