The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will now be part of the Live PD family.

The Sheriff's Office announced on Facebook that Alabamians can watch Live PD on Friday and Saturday nights on A&E from 8 p.m. to midnight, beginning next week, to see their officers in action.

According to AL.com, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will be part of the series for 10 weeks.

JeffCo Deputy Chief David Agee told the media outlet, “The objective is to show the public our everyday work. Not just taking people to jail but also how we help people. We’re excited about it."

Crews are said to begin filming in the Magic City on Monday.

Live PD features law enforcement agencies across the country and has a reach of over 7 million viewers, according to A&E.
