Laureate Rho — October

Hosting the Oct. 2 meeting of Laureate Rho was Jane Johnston. Service Chairman Phyllis Casson stated the October service donation would be given to EASI with Jane Johnston and Terah Sherer making the presentation. Ways and Means Chairman Cherie Woodard reminded members that pecan orders will be collected at the first November meeting.

Social Chairman Linda Berry asked members who plan to attend the Dec. 4 meeting at American Village for the Luncheon and Tour to make reservations with Deb Hudson. Berry stated the Christmas Social would be at Musgrove Country Club Dec. 14. The menu will be selected at a November meeting.

Tentative plans were made for a Halloween Social and will be finalized at the Oct. 16 meeting. Presenting the program "Second Time Around" was Sherer.

Terah Sherer hosted the Oct. 16 meeting of Laureate Rho. President Daisy Aldridge announced the state convention would be in Decatur in June and asked members to think about attending. Plans were finalized for the December social at American Village. Social Chairman Berry stated plans were made for a Halloween brunch at Jimmy's Egg and asked members to wear Halloween shirts for the event.

The day's program, "The Body Farm," was presented by Sherer.
