Jasper High to host women’s Clinic Saturday

The Jasper Viking coaching staff will host the second-annual Women’s Football Camp on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the football facility.
The camp provides women in the community an opportunity to spend time with head coach Philip Bailey and the staff, as well as to get first-hand experience of what it is like to be a member of the Jasper team.
The cost of the camp is $20, which includes lunch and a camp T-shirt. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
Registration for the clinic can be done at gofan.co/jaspervikings.
All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
“Our women’s clinic is a lot of fun,” Bailey said. “Last year was our first year to do the camp, and all the ladies had a great time. “Most of the ladies who participated last year were either players’ moms or coaches’ wives, and they took it serious. We are hoping to have even more participants this year. It is open to any female in our community who would like to learn a little more about our football program.”
