Lynn’s Noah Jackson had a hand in four touchdowns and Jordan Davis rushed for three as the Bears earned a 44-20 region win at Berry on Friday night.
The Bears led 20-6 after the first quarter and never looked back. Lynn led 32-20 at the half and outscored Berry 12-0 in the second half.
Jackson rushed nine times for 93 yards and two touchdowns (29, 15).
He also completed 9 of 15 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns (35, 24). Brandon Hill caught both touchdown passes.
Jordan Davis rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns (1, 3, 6).
Defensively, Griffin Lynn had 10 tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss, Micah Cagle had seven tackles, one sack and fumble recovery, Davis had six tackles and both Devon Daniel and Carson Legg had four tackles and two sacks.
Hill set the tone Friday, returning the opening kickoff 82 yards to the 1-yard line. Davis followed with the touchdown and a 7-0 lead. Jackson hit Hill for a 35-yard touchdown later in the quarter for a 13-0 lead. After a Berry touchdown, Davis scored on a 3-yard run for a 20-6 lead. Davis added another touchdown run and Jackson connected with Hill on a 24-yard scoring pass for the 32-20 halftime lead.
Lynn put the game away with a pair of Jackson touchdowns in the second half on runs of 29 and 15 yards.
The Bears (3-3, 2-2) host Hubbertville in a key region matchup next week.
