T.R. Simmons Elementary School kindergarten students visited Faye Whittemore Farms in Jasper Wednesday to pick out pumpkins, meet farm animals, play games and more. The farm, located at 1619 Forrester Rd., is open each Saturday in October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $12, and children under 2 years old are admitted free. This is the farm's 24th year to host schools and families in Walker County.
