Debra was a member of New Life Christian Assembly in Dora, under the leadership of Pastor James and Debbie Aycox. While her lung disease did not allow her to attend church regularly, she loved the Lord with her whole heart. That same love was extended not only to her children, but also to many other children that she considered as her own. To those children, never forget “Big Momma” has always loved you. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the all of the medical field that helped care for their mother during her illness, Dr. Richmond and his staff at Adamsville Family Medicine, Dr. Jason Rollins and staff at Pulmonary & Critical Care Specialists of Princeton, and Compassus Hospice. They are truly grateful for all of the support and compassion you have shown them during this journey.

Visitation will be held today, Jan. 11, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home in Dora. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at 11 a.m. at New Life Christian Assembly. Rev. James Aycox and Rev. Bobby Simmons will officiate. Burial will follow at Bryan Cemetery.
