Installed as the 2019-2020 officers were Mary Ann Seel, President, Daisy Aldridge - First Vice-President, Jane Johnston - Second Vice-President, Cherie Woodard - Treasurer, Deb Hudson - Recording Secretary, Phyllis Casson - Corresponding Secretary, and Cheri Swetnam, Extension Officer.
Corresponding Secretary Casson shared notes of thanks from President Aldridge, the Walker College Foundaion, and the Walker Area Community Foundation.
Social Chairman Linda Berry reminded members of the Salad Luncheon, Chapter Birthday Celebration, and Secret Sister Revealing Day at the May 21 meeting at the Walker College Foundation House.

After chapter discussion, it was decided that the Laureate Rho Sorority will no longer be selling pecans as their fund raiser and thanks was expressed to all individuals and groups who have loyally supported Laureate Rho over the years.
By-Laws and Traditions were reviewed and changes made and the budget for the next year was reviewed and changes made. The yardstick for the year's activities will be completed by Aldridge and Seel.
President Aldridge began the May 21 meeting of Laureate Rho hosted by Deb Hudson with a moment of silence, a prayer and a time for members to share memories of Montae Cain , loving and faithful member of our sorority who passed away Love and sympathy were extended to her family and a donation will be made in her memory to her church.
Following a delicious salad luncheon, President Aldridge reported the results of the chapter survey by the members and additional suggestions were shared by members.
In-coming President Seel stated four members were needed to complete the program roster for the 2019-2020 year At the end of the business meeting, members enjoyed birthday cake to celebrate the chapter birthday After this years secret sisters were revealed by the opening of gifts, new secret sisters were drawn for the new chapter year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Seel spoke of her plans for the new year and thanked Aldridge for her service as chapter president. Hudson presented Aldridge with her picture album of the year's events and reminded member to take a yellow rose as the remembrance of a great chapter year.
