NOTICE

• Matthew Ministry Outreach/Soup kitchen is held every Friday at 11 a.m. at LifeSprings Assembly of God on Highway 195.

• Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Horse Creek Blvd. in Cordova holds a Soup Kitchen every Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. 

• Boldo United Methodist Church holds a clothes closet the second Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.


SATURDAY, NOV. 2

• Prospect Independent Church in Nauvoo will host the fourth annual holiday bazaar from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Lots of arts, crafts, jewelry, clothing and food. For more information contact Robin Odom at 205-471-2128.

• Winston County Gospel Music Theatre will host their 1st Saturday Night Singing starting at 6 p.m. featuring guest singers, "Inherited" from Cullman.

• The Barn in Dora will celebrate a night of Southern Gospel Music that will feature New Ground from Scottsboro, The Gospel Barn Quartet from Dora, and the popular Dixie Echoes from Pensacola, Fla. This is a free admission event but a love offering will be received. The Barn is located at 56 Parr Parkway, Dora, Ala. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert gets underway at 6:00 p.m. For additional information you can call 256-218-1983.

• The singing at Beech Grove Church has been cancelled due to structural issues.

• Lamon Chapel United Methodist Church will hold the 39th Annual United Methodist Women's Bazaar and Bake Sale from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Breakfast and lunch served, along with homemade crafts, baked goods, odds and ends, books, old cassette tapes and records, and much more!

• Freedom Assembly of God on Curry Hwy will host an Outdoor Concert at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.


SUNDAY, NOV. 3

• Living Light Church of God Fall Festival will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Trunk or Treat, games, bonfire, bouncy house, chili cook off, food, costume contest, hayride and much more. 


NOV. 3-6

• Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy will host a revival on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speaker will be Bro. Bill Adams.

• West Walker Church of Christ will host a Fall Gospel Meeting on Sunday at 10:20 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Mark Posey.


SUNDAY, NOV. 10

• Westside Baptist Church will celebrate their 94th Annual Homecoming with Bro. Jeff Champion speaking. Lunch will be served after service. Everyone welcome.

• Voice of Truth Worship Center in Carbon Hill will host a singing featuring Milburn Savage & The Masterpieces at 6 p.m.


FRIDAY, NOV. 15

• The 2nd Annual Gospel Singing featuring The Primitive Quartet and Heavens Mountain Band will take place at 7 p.m. at Pebble Community Center (100 County Rd 3423, Haleyville). Admission is $10 per person (under 12 gets in free). Master of Ceremony will be Jerry Edgil. Concessions go to support the Community Center. Campsites are available for $12/day. SATURDAY, NOV. 16

• The Carbon Hill Church of God of Prophecy will offer a community Thanksgiving meal, "Share Yours", for families from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. First come, first served.
