Carol F. Pearson, 66, of Marion, Ind., passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Colonial Oaks Healthcare in Marion, Indiana.
The family will receive friends today, Nov. 14, 2017, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Double Springs.
Carol was born on Sept. 28, 1951, to Clarence and EarlineLowe Farley in Birmingham. She graduated from Tarrant High School in 1969. Later that year, she married the love of her life, Doyle Pearson, on October 17, 1969. Carol worked at Channel 55, Strawberry Patch Antiques, Coca-Cola Bottling Co., as well as a short time at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, all in Jasper, Alabama. She attended Marion First Church of the Nazarene here in Marion, Ind. Carol enjoyed speaking, quilting, needle point, singing, and songwriting. She collected China and loved Southern Gospel music and enjoyed attending concerts.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Doyle, who passed on June 11, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter, Lana Dennis (Michael), of Marion, Ind.; grandson, Bradley Dennis of Milton, Pa.; granddaughter, Eva Mae Dennis of Marion, Ind.; sister, Linda Pollak (Gary) of Helena, Mont.; three sisters-in-law, Judy Gunter (Wayne), Carol Thompson and Gail Pearson; and two brothers-in-law, Terry Pearson (Karen) and Ronnie Pearson.
Pallbearers will be Steve Farley, Charles Toggle and Cullen Wood.
