BSCC reveals new app

Bevill State Community College has unveiled a redesigned app with a number of conveniences.

Tana Collins-Allred, director of public relations for Bevill State, said the new app has been in development for several months and features links to BearMail, Canvas, college social media, the college's calendar, MyBSCC, notifications, the college catalog, and a course schedule. Students can also access registration information, a career coach feature, maps, an employee directory, and more.

"One component that I am particularly glad is available to future students is the career coach. This is available on our website, but will now be easily accessible from the app," Collins-Allred said. "It allows for research into various career fields, the available job markets, and pay scales for those careers, and what programs that Bevill State offers in those areas. It is a pretty impressive tool."

"Ensuring that the college provides the most current technology is a priority," BSCC President Dr. Kim Ennis said. "The new Bevill State App is user-friendly and provides access to all of the necessary resources for current students, future students, parents, school counselors and community members from the convenience of their cell phone. If you want to stay up-to-date on Bevill State Community College, I recommend that you download the app today."

The app is free and available for download in the App Store or Google Play by searching "Bevill State App."
