HAMILTON — Anyone interested in furthering their education can take advantage of some special resources at Bevill State Community College's Hamilton Campus tomorrow.

Bevill State will host a Bear Tracks event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bevill Business and Community Center on Hamilton's campus. The event will allow potential students to learn about the educational paths Bevill State has to offer, all while getting a jump-start on the college application process.

People will also have an opportunity to take the ACCUPLACER placement test; complete a Career Coach career assessment; meet with an advisor to plan course schedules; and obtain financial aid and FAFSA information.

Those who attend can also enter a drawing to win a tuition scholarship for one three-hour course. To qualify, you must attend the event, complete required steps and meet eligibility requirements.

All who attend will receive a special gift.

To pre-register for the event, visit www.bscc.edu/students/future-students/bear-tracks. Pre-registration is recommended but not required.

More information can be obtained by emailing CTEINFO@bscc.edu or by calling 1-800-648-3271, ext. 5845.

Similar events will not be held on the other campuses of Bevill State.
