Bevill State Community College and the Workforce Development and Education Initiative of the Chamber of Commerce of Walker County is seeking businesses to take part in their 2017 Career and Technical Workforce Expo next month.

The career expo will give companies an opportunity to recruit new employees and promote what their business has to offer to Bevill State students and community members seeking employment.

Bevill State’s Sumiton campus will host the event in the Tom Bevill Business and Industry Building (1400) on April 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Employers are asked to pre-register for the event, which will guarantee a six-foot display table at the event, with seating for two.

Companies who register will also receive free Wi-Fi, have an opportunity to participate in pre-event publicity and have access to a hospitality suite with drinks and snacks.

As a special incentive, businesses that register before March 24 will be mentioned in a promotional advertisement that will run prior to the event.

The deadline to register is March 31; however, companies can register after that date, as space permits.

To register, contact Bevill State-Sumiton’s Director of Campus Services, Dr. Chris Franklin, at (800) 648-3271, ext. 5601.
