Community members rallied around the family of Oakman's Austin Aaron, the 14-year-old killed on an ATV on Aug. 2, as he was laid to rest on Saturday. Numerous bikers showed up after family members requested that a motorcade of bikes lead the way to the burial site. More than 300 riders from as far away as south Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia attended. A balloon release was held on Saturday evening at Oakman's football field. Students and staff from other schools, including Carbon Hill High School, have reached out with messages of support.
