Four people have been arrested by Jasper police this week, each on charges related to theft.

Jeremy Swain, 32, of Jasper, was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of fraudulent use of a debit card.

The debit card used by Swain had been taken from a vehicle that had been broken into. Swain has not been charged with the break-in.

He was being held on a $45,000 cash bond.

Austin McCollum, 19, of Jasper, was arrested earlier this week after a break-in at The Sugar Shack in downtown Jasper.

McCollum was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft of property.

He was being held on two separate $1,000 property bonds.

Justin Wayne Smith, 37, of Jasper, was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, menacing and public intoxication.

Smith was arrested after an incident at Castle Village Trailer Park on Alabama Highway 5. He is being held on $100,000 bond.

Crystal Key, 35, of Jasper, was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree theft of property in connection with a stolen 2001 Toyota Camry. Key was taken into custody by Arley police while driving the stolen vehicle.

She was also charged with two counts of failure to appear in court and was being held on $15,000 bond.
