2019 MISS WALKER COUNTY Outstanding Teen

Eight young ladies from across Alabama will be competing Saturday night for the title of 2019 Miss Walker County Outstanding Teen.

This year’s program, which will be held in conjunction with the 2019 Miss Walker County Outstanding Teen program, will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at Rowland Auditorium on the Jasper campus of Bevill State Community College.

Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling Miss Walker County program director Linda Thaler at (205) 275-1009.

Tickets at the door are $12.

The Miss Walker County and Miss Walker County Outstanding Teen programs are sponsored by the Pilot Club of Jasper.

This year’s winner, which will be crowned by 2018 Miss Walker County Outstanding Teen Lorin O’Rear, will compete in the 2019 Miss Alabama Outstanding Teen program in March 2019.

Competing this year are:

RAMSEY HARPER

Ramsey Harper, of Hayden, is a student at Hayden High School.

Harper’s platform is Just Breathe: Allergy and Asthma Awareness.

She will perform a tap dance routine to ‘Dance with Me Tonight’ for her talent.

DIAMOND HIGHTOWER

Diamond Hightower, of Jasper, is a student at Jasper Junior High School.

Hightower’s platform is Embrace 360: Breaking Complex Barriers.

She will perform a jazz dance routine to ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ by Michael Jackson for her talent.

ELLA KATE NICHOLS

Ella Kate Nichols, of Andalusia, is a student at Andalusia High School.

Nichols’ platform is Bucket of Smiles - Advocating for Childhood Cancer.

She will sing ‘I Am Changing’ for her talent.

HOLLY FERGUSON

Holly Ferguson, of Montevallo, is a student at Thompson High School.

Ferguson’s platform is It’s a Marathon, Not at Sprint: Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness.

For her talent, she will perform a tap dance routine to ‘Big Time.’

LINDSEY WOOD

Lindsey Wood, of Thorsby, is a student at Thorsby High School.

Wood’s platform is Bows That Bless: Aiding Foster Care in Alabama.

For her talent, she will perform a tumbling jazz dance routine to ‘Spiderman.’

NATALIE ROBERTSON

Natalie Robertson, of Hamilton, is a student at Hamilton High School.

Robertson’s platform is A Love to Serve, A Platform with No End.

She will perform a pop vocal/guitar presentation of ‘Eyes Wide Open’ for her talent.

JIMMERSON

Emily Katherine Jimmerson, of Madison, is a student at James Clemens High School.

Jimmerson’s platform is Littlest Feet Make the Biggest Footprints.

For her talent, she will perform a jazz dance routine to ‘No Excuses’ by Meghan Trainor.

JESILYN MELIAH MAPLE

Jesilyn Meliah Maple, of Mount Olive, is a student at Bragg Middle School.

Maple’s platform is We’re More Alike Than Different.

She will sing ‘Never Enough’ for her talent.
