Kellye Nicole Jordan and Richard Russell Bowen Jr. were married on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Jasper's First Baptist Church in a double ring ceremony. Bro. Saint Green of Maylene, Alabama officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at the Musgrove Country Club in Jasper.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Janice Jordan of Jasper. She is the granddaughter of Dean Jordan and the late J.C. Jordan and the late Clifford and Ramona Cain, all of Jasper.

The groom is the son of Rick and Renee Bowen of Jasper. He is the grandson of Bud and Nell Philpot of Jasper, and David and Lavoise Bowen of St. Augustine, Fla.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride's attendants were Alyson Dix, maid of honor and friend of the bride, of Jasper. Bridesmaids were sisters of the groom, Clara and Collin Bowen, friends of the bride, Chelsea Emberg and Carmen Key, all of Jasper, Alexia Henig of Montgomery, Ashley Newsome of Florence, and Kayla Woodard of Addison. Flower girls were cousins of the bride, Mary Riley Jordan of Helena, and Mary Ashlyn Morris of Birmingham. Ella Jordan of Helena, cousin of the bride, registered the guest.

Best man was Rick Bowen Sr., father of the groom. Groomsmen were brother of the groom, William David Bowen, brothers of the bride, Jarred and Brett Jordan, all of Jasper, and friends of the groom, Lance Blair of Sumiton, Brad Edwards of Hoover, Zac McGeehee, Chad Waldrop of Jasper and Shayne Kelley of Oxford. Brooks Waid of Cullman, cousin of the bride, served as the ring bearer.

Music was provided by Patti Kirkley and vocalists were Nina Wilson and Curt Cagle, and photography by Janet Nunnally Wilson.

The rehearsal dinner was provided by the parents of the groom, Rick and Renee Bowen.



Mr. Jeffrey White and Mrs. Rhonda White and Mr. Donald Bishop announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Kalyn Bishop of Jasper, to Sonny James Peake of Jasper, the son of Mr. Erwin Peake and Mrs. Deborah Peake.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Mac Duncan, the late Mr. Aubrey Sanford, Mrs. Majorie Sanford of Jasper, Mr. J.T. White of Jasper, Mrs. Shelby White of Jasper, the late Charles Quitman Bishop, and the late Inez Bishop.

She is a 2008 graduate of Walker High School, a 2012 graduate of the University of North Alabama and a member of Alpha Gama Delta Sorority.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. Howard “Sonny” Peake and Mrs. Olivine Peake of Jasper, the late Mr. Charles Owens, and Mrs. Sarah Owens of Tuscaloosa.

He is a 2002 graduate of Curry High School, a 2007 graduate of the University of North Alabama, a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and the co-owner of Xtreme Coins and Collectibles in Jasper.

Their wedding will take place at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Gabrella Manor in Birmingham. Formal invitations have been sent.
