Wanda Kaye Williams, 42, of Saragossa, went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 5, 2013, at her residence. Wanda was a CNA for more than 20 years. She worked for Consult America in Carbon Hill and finally Ridgeview Nursing Home of Jasper where she was working when she became ill.

A memorial service was held on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Pocahontas Freewill Baptist Church in Carbon Hill. Brother Haskell Tinker officiated the service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Williams; her mother, Phyllis Delvecchio; and her stepfather, J.A. Delvecchio.

She is survived by her daughter, Tasha Williams Fowler and her husband, Cory; two grandchildren, Roslyn Grace Fowler and Eli Bryce Fowler; her father, Walter Rush; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dorain and Geneva Williams; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
