Oakman, which lost to Lamar County on the road in Week 2, has outscored Francis Marion 118-32 over the last two seasons.

Trotter has passed for 591 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

On the defensive side of the ball, Sumiton Christian junior linebacker Trace Busby had a huge game against Meek in a key Class 1A, Region 6 showdown.

Busby recorded a team-high 19 tackles, doubling his total on the season, in Sumiton Christian’s come-from-behind 25-24 victory. He was part of an Eagle defense that didn’t allow a point in the second half.

Sumiton Christian’s win keeps the Eagles in the playoff picture heading into this week’s non-region game against Collinsville.
