The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. Jerry Boyd will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Lovett was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Lucille Lovett; and sister, Iona Kimbrell.
He is survived by his daughter, Krista K. McAnear (David) of Jasper; son, Michael R. Lovett (Karen) of Nauvoo; sister, Jan Olnhausen (Harold) of Shreveport, La.; brother, Larry Lovett (Peggy); three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
