Oswalt was preceded in death by her father, A.C. Carey; mother, Loavell Goforth; and sister, Sheila Carey Barton.
She is survived by her step-father, Ed Goforth; nephew, Dewayne Barton (Cristy); uncle, Clyde Johnsey (Nettie); aunt, Brenda Butler (Bill); step-daughter, Brandy Schultz; step-son, Blake Oswalt; a host cousins and special friends; and four step-grandchildren.
