ADDISON — Fifth-ranked Addison scored four touchdowns in the first quarter and coasted from there, beating Southeastern 47-0 on Friday night at A.G. Hicks Stadium.

Addison (3-0, 2-0) got three touchdowns from Tyler Wilson on the day. He finished the game with 76 rushing yards to lead a balanced offensive attack for the Bulldogs.

Dillon Jarrett and Kyle Denson each added two rushing touchdowns for Addison, which took a 40-0 lead into the second half.

Nine different players carried the ball for the Bulldogs. Addison finished the game with 259 rushing yards. The Bulldogs also were 1-for-1 for 34 yards throwing the ball.

Addison’s defense dominated Southeastern, holding the Mustangs to 40 yards of offense — 32 passing and 8 rushing.

Southeastern, which went 0-9 in its inaugural season in the AHSAA last year, is now 0-2 this season and has been outscored 96-0.

Addison looks to continue its hot start next week with a game at Shades Mountain Christian. The Eagles are 0-2 this season and have been outscored 109-13.
