Nancy Louise Day, 74, of Empire, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 9 , 2013, from 1 until 3 p.m. the parlor at Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 3 p.m. in the Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Empire Memory Cemetery. Pastor Bruce LeVan and the Rev. Jack Thomas will officiate.

Day was a member of Empire Church of God and was retired from Arrow Shirt Factory and Food World.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Claude and Nancy Whitworth; and brother, Pete Whitworth.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Dearl Day of Empire; children, David Day of Empire, Pam Capps and her husband, David, of Dora, Tammy Mann and her husband, Kenny, of Hayden, Cynthia LeVan and her husband, Bruce, of Empire, and Scottie Day and his wife, Suzanne, of Sipsey; sister, Mary Helen Hubbard and her husband, James, of Jasper; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
