Milton Bruner, 79, of Trimble, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Fred Rivers will officiate, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1934, in Walker County to Willie and Virgie Jackson Bruner.

Bruner retired after 33 years of service with Alabama Power and continued after retirement as a consultant for them.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jimmie Sue Bruner.

He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Bruner and Cindy (Randy) Hunt; a granddaughter, Leslie Hunt; two brothers, U. James Bruner and Audrey Bruner; and a sister, Norma Jean Walker.
