She was a loving mother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a devoted fan of Elvis. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. and raised in North Miami Beach, Fla. She was preceded by her parents, Clifford and Frances Tate; husbands, Robert C. Lane, who was a casualty of the Korean War, and Thomas E. Stone; brothers, Clinton Tate and Pete Tate; and sister, Beth Wilcox.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Randy) Yancey, Craig (Traci) Odom, and Ray Odom; grandchildren, Jeff LeMaster, Jennifer (Aaron) Brook, David Southwick, Terri Lyn (Pat) Kyles, Denise Odom and Tate Odom; great-grandchildren, Will and Gracelyn; sisters, Dixie Simonic of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Sandra (Bob) DiPilla of Tequesta, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. Wayne Williams will officiate.
