He is survived by his wife, Astrid Patey of Jasper; two daughters, Kim Marie of Tampa, Fla., and Sofia of Jasper; three sons, John Eric of Dearborn, Mich., Jaison Ward of San Pedro, Calif., and son, Federico, of Jasper; sister, Mary Laverne of Tampa, Fla.; brother, James Foster of San Pedro, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
