A Townley woman and her two kids lost all their belongings in a house fire Tuesday night, and a drive is underway to help them out.

Sarah Sides and her two sons were at their home just off Alabama 124 in Townley when fire broke out Tuesday night.

They were able to escape the structure, which was a total loss.

Firefighters struggled to get to the home, which is at the end of a dirt road just off Alabama Highway 124.

Sandra Guthrie of Jasper, who’s related to Sides, said the family lost all their belongings, including all their clothes except for what they were wearing at the time.

Guthrie said donations of clothing for Sides and her two sons are being collected at Booger’s Towing in Jasper.

The boys wear sizes 4 and 8 1/2 in shoes, 12 husky and 18 husky in pants, and 12-14 and men’s medium to large in shirts.
