Graveside services for Gloria Jean Baker, 69, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, in the Gann Memorial Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas, with Bro. George Pounds officiating.

She was born Aug. 22, 1944, in Jasper and passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family of Corrigan, Texas.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Delmar Ray; sons, Mark Baker of Nauvoo, Keith Baker and wife, DiAnna, of Douglass, Texas, and Adam Baker and wife, Alyson, of Lufkin, Texas; daughters, Lori Brown and husband, Charlie, of Nauvoo and Donna Cowen of Lufkin, Texas; brothers, Greg Hood of Curry, Neal Hood of Jasper, Carter Hood of Jasper and Lowell Hood of Jasper; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends that will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chesley Odis and Esther Lousie Hood; brothers, Ralph and Odis Hood; and sisters, Cynthia Hood and Hazel Hood.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Baker, Kyle Brown, Kade Bentley, Dakota Cowen, Michael Baker and Luke Baker.
