Visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. today, Feb. 24, 2013, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Bob Tackett will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, G.H. Polk and Mattie Pitman Polk; sisters, Beulah Polk Henderson and Nettie Polk Evans; brothers, Leslie H. Polk; and nephews, Clyde Evans and Donald E. Polk.
She is survived by her nephews, Charles W. Evans, Milburn R. Evans, Walter H. Polk and Eugene A. Polk; and special friends at Goodsprings Church of Christ, especially Mary Laurent, Carolyn Tackett and Paula Jent.
