Ginger Kilgore of Townley and the late Timothy Kilgore of Carbon Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Emilee Alyssa Kilgore of Carbon Hill, to Joshua Kyle Johnson of Carbon Hill, the son of Tammy Johnson of Lynn and Tanya and Dan Hogan of Double Springs.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alfred Boshell of Townley, Mary Alice Boshell of Townley, the late Jerry Kilgore of Carbon Hill and Mary Lou Kilgore of Carbon Hill.

She is a 2008 graduate of Carbon Hill High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science and secondary math education degree.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late James “Jimbo” Vester of Double Springs and the late Pearlene Johnson of Double Springs.

He is a 2010 graduate of Winston County High School. He is currently employed with Fontaine Trailers in Jasper.

The wedding will take place at 3 p.m. on June 22, 2013, at First Christian Church in Jasper.
