David and Jimmieanne Beaird of Jasper are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Lynn Beaird, to James Leroy Daniels Jr., son of John and Sheryl Corea of Prunedale, Calif.
The prospective bride is the granddaughter of the late K.L. and Tulsa Ann Jones of Jasper, and the late Thomas and Sudie Beaird of Carbon Hill.
She is a 1981 graduate of Walker High School, a 1985 graduate of Faulkner University and a 1986 graduate of Freed Hardeman University. She is currently self-employed as a graphic designer and owner of Designs by Julie, in the Jackson, Tenn. area.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Dorothy Smith of Salinas, Calif., the late Euell Welch of Salinas, Calif., Wanda Stewart of Gideon, Mo., the late Jack Daniels of Salinas, Calif. and step grandson of the Ursula Corea of Salinas, Calif.
He is a 1989 graduate of Gideon High School and attended Hartnell Community College. He is currently employed at Con-way Freight in Humbodlt, Tenn.
The wedding will take place at Campbell Street Church of Christ in Jackson, Tenn., at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.
Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis Williams Jr. of Richmond are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Lee Campbell Williams, also of Richmond, to Mr. Michael Addington Drummond of Jasper, son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Freeman Drummond, also of Jasper.
Miss Williams is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Trezevant Puddephatt of Memphis, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis Williams of Richmond. Mr. Drummond is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gladstone Addington of Sheffield, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Drummond of Jasper.
Miss Williams, a graduate of Collegiate School, received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Virginia. She was a sponsor of the Bal Du Bois, benefiting Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital, and was presented at The Richmond German. She is a Senior Assistant Director of Admission at the University of Richmond.
Mr. Drummond, a graduate of Indian Springs School, received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University. He formerly served as Special Assistant to the President of the United States. Mr. Drummond currently is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin.
